Haseltine is pleased to present to you a completely hand-made garment. It has been fashioned by artisans in Paris and each piece will have a unique aspect. As many pieces are also hand painted and individually trimmed there will be variations in each piece. Discolorations, paint splotched or fabrics which have purposely been "aged" to create an effect is part of the overall and desired one-of-a-kind aspect of the garment. It will be inherent in each piece due to it's hand-made quality and to individual trimming and often antique fabrics used. This is an intended effect and should not be considered a flaw. Every piece is looked over carefully by the designer herself and every irregularity noted and found acceptable before being shipped to you.
OUR RETURN POLICY.
If you are not happy with your order, you may return it for an exchange or Haseltine online boutique credit. For a Haseltine credit the amount will be less 20% for re-stocking fee and any shipping, handling and gift wrapping charges. In order to return your order your return must be postmarked back to us within 14 days of receiving your order (*see exceptions below). Original shipping is not refundable. However, we do not charge domestic customers again to ship their exchanged items to them (international customers and customers who purchase Clearance Merchandise will be charged a minimum shipping fee.)
Only items returned in their original packaging, unworn, unmarked, unaltered, and in brand new condition with tags attached will be accepted. Please wear a thin camisole or shirt when trying on your corset to avoid marking. For other items wear a face cloth when slipping over the head while trying on to avoid marking with make-up. Exchanges are limited to one item, per order. In the case when an ensemble of top and bottom is ordered together. The two pieces can be returned on condition that neither item is not custom ordered.
*Exceptions: Exchanges and Haseltine credits will not be issued on the following:
1) Clearance Merchandise
2) Custom orders, Special orders, or garments that are customized in any way, via fabric and trim options. Note: On custom orders, we cannot be held responsible for inaccurate measurements submitted by the customer. Therefore, please MEASURE CAREFULLY.
4) Slips, panties and undergarments are not returnable due to the intimate nature of the items. All items are thoroughly inspected for defects before shipping.
5) Gift Certificates are NOT refundable.
HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN FOR AN EXCHANGE OR STORE CREDIT?
In order to exchange your item or receive a store credit, simply e-mail us before 10 days after receiving your order, to request a Return Authorization number. Packages returned without prior authorization will not be accepted. Only returns postmarked within 14 days after receiving merchandise will be accepted for a Haseltine on-line boutique credit or exchange.
WHERE TO RETURN AN ITEM FOR AN EXCHANGE OR HASELTINE CREDIT?
Carefully package the returned item to properly protect the garment. Please enclose a note specifying your desire for a store credit or exchange. Please send your package pre-paid and insured for the total amount. We cannot be held responsible for lost packages or damaged merchandise. C.O.D's will not be accepted. Make sure to send your package to the exact address indicated in your Return Authorization from customer service. Depending on the merchandise being returned, you will need to address your package to the correct return address. Once this address is received, include your Return Authorization number on the label.
You will receive an email confirmation once your return is received, and your exchange or store credit has been processed.
CANCELATIONS OR CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER?
If you need to Cancel or make a Change to your order, please e-mail us within 24 hours of placing the order. We will be happy to accommodate a change or cancellation within that time frame, and will e-mail a "Confirmation" to confirm the request. Any cancellations after 24 hrs. will incur a 20% restocking fee and a store credit of the balance.
*Exception: Custom orders cannot be cancelled after 24 hours.
REFUSED OR UNCLAIMED PACKAGES.
If your package is returned to us "refused" or "unclaimed" (due to an unauthorized cancellation, change of heart, or incorrect address) we cannot be held responsible for original shipping charges, re-routing fees or any additional shipping charges to reship your item. If a refused or unclaimed package is no longer wanted by the customer, a 20% re-stocking fee will apply and a Haseltine credit of the balance will be issued to the customer less shipping charges and fees, valid for 1 year. Alternatively, the customer has the option of accepting their original order and paying the return shipping fees.
*Exception: If a refused or unclaimed package is a "custom" item, the customer owns it and no return is allowable.
IMPORT TAXES AND CUSTOMS.
Please note: all custom duties or import taxes are the responsibility of the customer.
Be advised that your country may impose duties, taxes and other fees which you will have to pay before your order will be released from customs. If you are unsure and need more information, please contact your local trade or customs office for details. Customs fees are the responsibility of the consumer
Be advised that some countries prohibit import of, or impose difficult customs regulations on clothing. If you are unsure as to whether your home country imposes restrictions, please contact your local trade or customs office for details. It is the customers obligation to check their country's own restrictions and prohibitions before ordering. We cannot be held responsible for shipping charges if your package is returned to us.
